2. Welche Daten werden verarbeitet?

Lokale Datenspeicherung

Datenschutz: world.openfoodfacts.org/privacy.

In-App-Käufe
Käufe werden ausschließlich über Apples StoreKit-Dienst abgewickelt. Restock erhält dabei keine Zahlungsinformationen oder Kontodaten.

Keine Analyse, kein Tracking
Restock verwendet keine Analyse-Tools, keine Werbenetzwerke und kein Tracking. Es werden keine Nutzungsdaten an Dritte weitergegeben.

3. Weitergabe an Dritte

2. What data is processed?

Local data storage
Restock stores all shopping data (lists, items, stores, purchase history, prices) exclusively locally on your device using SwiftData. This data only leaves your device as part of the services described below.

iCloud sync
If iCloud is enabled on your device, the app data is synchronized between your own Apple devices via Apple's CloudKit service. Apple's privacy policy applies (apple.com/legal/privacy). Restock has no access to this iCloud data.

Barcode scanner
When you scan a product barcode, only the EAN number is sent to the Open Food Facts service (openfoodfacts.org) to look up the product name. No personal data is transmitted. Open Food Facts is a non-profit project with its own privacy policy at world.openfoodfacts.org/privacy.

Shared lists
If you share a shopping list with others, the list data (item names, status, assignment, prices) and the display names you give the members are stored in Apple's CloudKit Public Database. Access is via an invitation code that should only be passed on through the app's share dialog. No account data (e.g. Apple ID, email) is stored.

Photos of shared items
If you add an item photo to an item in a shared list, the photo is also stored in Apple's CloudKit Public Database and is visible to all members of that shared list. Photos of items in lists that are not shared remain on your device or in your own iCloud.

Community prices (can be switched off at any time)
As long as "Share prices anonymously with others" is switched on in Settings (on by default), item name, store chain (e.g. "Rewe"), price per unit and date are stored in Apple's CloudKit Public Database when you scan a receipt and when you use "Enter price" — without your name, without the receipt photo, without branch or location. A random identifier per installation ensures that you hold only one current entry per item and chain; it is not linked to your Apple ID. Prices from other users are only read and shown as "Community"; reading them transmits no data about you.

Promo codes (free unlock)
If you redeem a promo code (e.g. from an invitation by friends/family or for testing), a random installation identifier that is not linked to your Apple ID, together with the redemption date, is stored alongside the code in Apple's CloudKit Public Database. This serves solely to associate the code with an installation and to revoke it if needed; no name, email or Apple ID is transmitted.

Open Prices (only after explicit sign-in)
If you switch on "Contribute receipts to Open Prices" in Settings and sign in with your Open Food Facts account, saved receipts are transmitted to Open Prices (prices.openfoodfacts.org, a project of Open Food Facts): the receipt photo as proof (public under the CC BY-SA 4.0 license — cover personal details beforehand), the branch you selected as an OpenStreetMap location, the date and, for each recognized line, product category and price (ODbL license). The branch is publicly visible there and reveals your approximate whereabouts. Your Open Food Facts username appears there as the contributor. The access token is stored in this device's keychain. When switched off or signed out, nothing is transmitted. Privacy: world.openfoodfacts.org/privacy.

In-app purchases
Purchases are processed exclusively via Apple's StoreKit service. Restock receives no payment information or account data.

No analytics, no tracking
Restock uses no analytics tools, no advertising networks and no tracking. No usage data is passed on to third parties.

3. Disclosure to third parties

Your data is not sold or marketed. It is only passed on as part of the services named above (Apple CloudKit, Open Food Facts, Open Prices, OpenStreetMap location search) and only to the extent necessary for the respective function.

4. Retention period

Data on your device is kept until the app is uninstalled. iCloud data is managed according to Apple's policies and can be deleted in the iCloud settings.

5. Your rights (GDPR)

6. Data deletion

You can delete all local data by uninstalling the app. For iCloud data, use Settings → [your name] → iCloud on your device. Shared list data remains stored in Apple's CloudKit until you ask us to delete it at the address given below.
